I can't remember exactly what happened before the evening, but it must have been a very lazy and uneventful day because I'm typing this only two days later. Around 8pm Tash, Kade, an Aussie couple, and I left the hostel, buying some cheap beer at a supermarket on our way towards the river. We settled atop the Chain Bridge with our beverages to enjoy the sunset.
It was lovely watching the boats motor up and down the Danube as the major churches and buildings lit up on both the Buda and Pest sides of the river.
Unlike the past two nights, we returned to the hostel after our drinks and relaxed on the rooftop terrace. I managed to sleep before midnight.
